Amanda Barnes MW on her new ’Top 10 Uruguayan Wines’ event

Whilst it can be hugely rewarding to sit down with a wine critic’s dedicated book on a particular wine country or region, it’s also a lot easier, accessible and impactful when that critic distills what they know in a good old ‘the best of’ type list. Which is exactly what South American wine expert, Amanda Barnes MW, has done with the launch of her new Top 10 initiative where she picks out the best wines from individual South American countries, and also highlights the wines she thinks offer the best value and potential too. She is kicking off the series with a Top 10 Uruguay Wines report which she will be launching at a special tasting and masterclass in London on September 3 where you will get the chance to taste and talk to her about her choices and taste the wines.
