ASVO concludes search for new executive director

Following an “extended search for the ideal candidate”, the Australian Society of Viticulture and Oenology (ASVO) has announced that Emily White starts today as its new executive director. ASVO said White brings “substantial experience in the wine and agribusiness industries” along with a “strong background of demonstrated skill in marketing and business development”. White shared that she is excited to be starting the role and is honoured to lead “an organisation with longstanding equity in the Australian wine community”. “ASVO plays a vital role in bringing together technical leadership and industry - from publishing research that drives practical improvements, to creating opportunities for members to connect and share knowledge across oenology and viticulture”.
