Barossa boutique winery wins Producer of the Year at the 2026 London Wine Competition

Family-owned Barossa Valley boutique winery Kellermeister Wines has been awarded Producer of the Year at the global 2026 London Wine Competition. All three of Kellermeister’s flagship Shiraz wines were awarded Gold medals, with it’s the Meister Shiraz receiving a Double Gold. Winemaker Mark Pearce said it is a joy to work with his sons Hugo and Rupert, who have joined him in working at the winery for a few years now. “Together we continue to chase the dream of crafting the very best wines we can produce in this beautiful region, which I believe is the archetypal home for Shiraz in the New World - informed by the timeless wisdom of the inspiration I derive from the Rhône in France, and the unique power of our ancient vines in the Barossa,” he said.
