Barossa red wins Best in Show Trophy at 2026 Mundus Vini Wine Competition

Barossa Valley winery Hare’s Chase has been awarded the ‘Best in Show Trophy’ in the Australian red wine category at the 2026 Mundus Vini Wine Competition for its 2022 ‘Hare & Hound’ Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz.Winemaker Matt Reynolds said that each Hare’s Chase wine delivers on the “flavour promise that has made Barossa Australia’s favourite wine region and Barossa Shiraz a global icon of Australian wine”.
