Bleasdale triumphs at 2026 Langhorne Creek Wine Show

On Friday 1 May, Langhorne Creek grapegrowers, wineries, trade, suppliers and representatives from local and state government agencies came together to celebrate the 2026 Langhorne Creek Wine Show. Bleasdale winery saw much success at the ceremony, winning the ‘Giles Machinery Best Malbec’ trophy and the ‘Multi-Color Corporation Champion Wine of Show’ award for its Bleasdale Reed Patch 2025 Single Vineyard Malbec before being announced as the ‘Vinpac Producer of the Year’. Chair of judges Adam Walls (Wine Selectors) was joined by judges Alexandra Alavoine (Treasury Wine Estates) and wine communicator Samantha Payne, as well as associate judges Charlotte Hardy (Charlotte Dalton Wines) and Gonzalo Sanchez (Lloyd Brothers). In his first year as chair, Walls was impressed by Langhorne Creek’s diversity.
