One of the (many) delights of writing for the drinks business as its Bordeaux correspondent is the opportunity it presents to visit for the first time a property whose wines one knows only a little or by reputation only. Every now and again this throws up a jewel. And Chateau Léognan, under new consultant winemaker Sébastien Vergne is such a jewel, writes Colin Hay.
