Coonawarra tutorials set to dig deep in Adelaide and Brisbane
The Coonawarra Vignerons has revealed that it will be bringing its ‘Coonawarra Tutorial: Digging Deeper than the Dirt’ to Adelaide and Brisbane this June following last year’s success in Melbourne and Sydney. The tutorial aims to showcase the past, present and future of the wine region “going beyond the soil” to explore viticulture and the evolving styles of Coonawarra wines. The events will take place in Adelaide on Wednesday 3 June and Brisbane Wednesday 10 June, “bringing together leading sommeliers, wine trade, and media for an engaging and educational tasting experience”. “It’s time to relook at the wines from the region, recognising the 131-year-old past but embracing the subtle changes that are being made across the region to make Coonawarra more relevant than ever,” said Dan Redman, fourth-generation winemaker and president of Coonawarra Vignerons.
