A new era of sustainable wine packaging commences at C4C in WA
After announcing its launch to market in December, new co-manufacturing facility C4C Packaging has officially commenced production at the former site of Houghton Wines in Swan Valley, Western Australia.
The first of its kind in Oceania, C4C uses technology supplied by Tetra Pak to provide lighter, export-ready, single-serve packaging formats designed for wine and RTD producers looking to reduce their carbon footprint.
As founder and Managing Director Hamoun Aria told Drink Trade, the facility comes at a critical moment for Australian wine as the sector navigates rapidly changing consumer trends both domestically and in key export markets globally.
