House of Arras breaks Champagne ceiling with 100-point Wine Advocate score
House of Arras E.J. Carr Late Disgorged 1998 Magnum has become the first non-Champagne sparkling wine to receive a 100-point score in the Robert Parker Wine Advocate since the publication pioneered the rating system in 1978.
The Tasmanian producer joins a shortlist of only 12 Australian wineries to achieve a perfect rating from what is widely considered to be the world’s most influential wine review platform, joining an the elite group that includes estates such as Torbreck, Clarendon Hills, Penfolds, Giaconda, S.C. Pannell and Seppeltfield.
