Andrew Weeks appointed Executive Officer of Riverland Wine

Andrew Weeks has been named Riverland Wine's new Executive Officer following Alex Cannon-Leyson's decision to step down in March.

An experienced wine industry manager and consultant who grew up in the region, Weeks brings to the regional body diverse experience spanning viticulture, business management, and national industry advocacy.

This includes a two year stint as CEO of national grower advocacy body Wine Grape Growers Australia, during which he led its transition to become Australian Vignerons, the organisation which would later merge with Winemakers’ Federation of Australia to form Australian Grape & Wine.
