Margaret River's Stella Bella claims top honours at Royal Queensland
Stella Bella Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 has claimed top honours at the Royal Queensland Wine Awards, outperforming 1,164 entries from 178 wineries.
The Margaret River wine was named Best Cabernet Sauvignon, Best Red Wine, and Grand Champion Wine, for which Stella Bella received a $12,000 fellowship for travel, training and education.
According to Chief Judge Julian Langworthy the wine was a clear standout, displaying “great freshness and real vibrancy of fruit, but a lovely fine tannin structure.
