Australian wine exports fall to lowest volume since 2004
Australian wine exports totalled $2.30 billion and 598 million litres in the year ended June 2026, a 7 per cent decline by value and 6 per cent decline by volume, according to Wine Australia’s Export Report released on Wednesday morning.
This mirrors a broader global trend of declining wine consumption over the past decade and is the first time that exports of Australian wine have fallen below 600 million litres since 2004.
