Entries open for milestone 200th Sydney Royal Wine Show and industry symposium

The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS) invites Australian wine producers to enter the Sydney Royal Wine Show for its 200th anniversary. Throughout its history, the RAS said that the show has been guided by some of Australian wine’s greatest figures, including Len Evans AO, James Halliday AM, Brian Croser AO, Iain Riggs AM, Samantha Connew, PJ Charteris and Sarah Crowe. This year’s show will be led by chair of judges Mike de Iuliis, who is joined by international judge Matthew Jukes. The RAS emphasised that a Sydney Royal medal is “one of the most recognised and trusted marks in Australian wine”, with a milestone year such as this one carrying “more weight than ever”.
