Great Wines Direct owner joins Tesco in race to buy Majestic

Komerz, the UK-based owner of Great Wines Direct, has reportedly entered the bidding for Majestic Wine Group, putting it in competition with supermarket giant Tesco. The retailer's owner, Fortress Investment Group, is seeking a buyer seven years after acquiring the business for £95 million.
