Helping Gusbourne celebrate 20 vintages of English sparkling wine

To celebrate its 20th vintage, Gusbourne, the premium Kent-based sparkling wine producer, has opened its cellar to its members for a rare release of historic wines… some which will never be available again. A lucky group of writers and wine experts were also invited to enjoy a special vertical Blanc de Blancs tasting of key vintage milestones at the Hide restaurant in Mayfair. This masterclass gave a fascinating history of Gusbourne’s successful rise and was also a chance to reflect on the incredible evolution of the English wine industry: how two decades of vineyard and cellar experience led to the growth of English sparkling wine as a serious new category.
