Henschke releases 2022 Single Vineyard Collection

The Henschke family globally released its 2022 Single Vineyard Collection from the Eden Valley this week. The collection includes the 2022 Hill of Grace Shiraz, Hill of Roses Shiraz, Mount Edelstone Shiraz, The Wheelwright Shiraz, Cyril Henschke Cabernet Sauvignon and Hill of Peace Semillon. According to fifth-generation winemaker Stephen Henschke, the 2022 vintage is one “graced by belief” and celebrates the vision of fourth-generation winemaker Cyril Henschke. “It was my father’s belief in the inherent quality of the Eden Valley and its single-vineyard expressions that gave us first Mount Edelstone and, from his heritage, the eloquently named Hill of Grace. It is easy to imagine his wonder as his first harvest of Mount Edelstone arrived at the winery in 1952, releasing the magic of the then forty-year-old Shiraz vines during fermentation, an exquisite perfume of florals, spice, pepper, sage and rich red and black fruit.
