Hunter Valley harvest image honoured at international photo awards

Australian photographer Chris Elfes is among those recognised for his work capturing the wine industry at the World Food Photography Awards. Elfes won ‘The Places’ sub-category for his image of a ‘hidden vineyard’, taken while Mount Pleasant Wines in the Hunter Valley picked their Semillon grapes. The winners of the competition’s 27 categories were revealed by renowned chef and food writer Gennaro Contaldo at the Mall Galleries last night in London.
