Hunter Valley to host heritage tasting and dinner for historic single-vineyard wines

Across the Hunter Valley region, 56 vineyards are recognised as Heritage Vineyards, each more than 50 years old and planted on original rootstocks. On 27 October 2026, the Hunter Valley will bring these historic vineyards to Lana at the Hinchcliff House in Sydney for NSW Wine Month. Seventeen Hunter Valley producers will present single-vineyard wines from some of the region’s most significant old-vine sites, “creating a rare opportunity to taste these wines side by side and explore the differences in vineyard, variety, vintage and winemaking”.
