IWSC awards perfect 100-point score for the first time to House of Cards

Margaret River winery House of Cards has made international wine history with its 2025 Ace High Chardonnay awarded the first ever 100-point score at the 2026 International Wine & Spirit Competition (IWSC) Global Tasting in Margaret River. The accolade also makes the 2025 Ace High Chardonnay the highest-scoring wine ever awarded by the IWSC, following “rigorous blind judging by some of the world’s leading wine judges and Masters of Wine”. House of Cards also received two gold medals for its 2025 Royals Chardonnay (98 points) and 2024 Kings in the Corner Cabernet Merlot (95 points). Moreover, the winery was awarded the ‘IWSC Trophy for Western Australian Producer of the Year’, marking the second time the winery has received this prestigious trophy, following its first win in 2024.
