Laurent-Perrier and A. Wong two great innovators meet head-to-head
For the latest collaboration between Laurent-Perrier and a Michelin-starred restaurant, to illustrate the gastronomic qualities of its prestige cuvée Grand Siècle, the Champagne House relocated to A.Wong in London’s Pimlico, the only Chinese restaurant outside Asia to receive two Michelin stars. Like Laurent-Perrier, chef Andrew Wong has achieved success by innovating and by keeping his establishment wholly family-owned. But how would the champagnes hold up to his notoriously complex neo-Cantonese cuisine that utilises 100s of ingredients across 30 dishes and replicates traditional Chinese banquets of the past?
