McLaren Vale set to turn up the flavour with Grenache & Gourmet festival

McLaren Vale’s ‘Grenache & Gourmet’ festival will return this Friday 18 September for International Grenache Day. Running until Monday 5 October (long weekend), the region’s winemakers, chefs, growers and producers will celebrate “world-class Grenache and fresh farm-to-table food through a calendar of unforgettable offerings that vibrantly showcase the heart and soul of the McLaren Vale Wine Region”. Now in its fifth year, the 2026 festival program includes 33 unique events for guests to explore, categorised by organisers as the following: ‘Sip & Savour’, ‘Learn & Explore’ and ‘Relax & Unwind’. Minster for Tourism Emily Bourke outlined the importance of such events to South Australia’s tourism industry and the unique appeal of the McLaren Vale Wine Region.
