MW calls for support after wildfire threatens historic Aragón vineyard

A wildfire that burned more than 200 hectares in Aragón came within 200 metres of one of Bodegas Frontonio’s most important old-vine sites, prompting Fernando Mora MW to call for greater investment in Spain’s rural communities. Tests have cleared the grapes of smoke taint, but wildlife displaced by the blaze is now threatening the harvest.
