Nepals Bikram Gautam on his goal of becoming a Master Sommelier

Bikram Gautam, head sommelier at Smith & Wollensky Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, passed his CMS Advanced exam earlier this year and is now looking to take the full Master Sommelier exam. Here he looks back on this career and explains why he is so determined to reach the top of the sommelier profession and succeed in a profession that is far removed from the small village in Nepal where he is from.
