North Melbourne take a sip down memory lane with limited-edition wine honouring 1996 win
Red Hill Estate has crafted a limited edition 2024 Pinot Noir called ‘The Golden Glory’, released especially to commemorate 30 years since the North Melbourne Football Club’s 1996 premiership win. The drop is available now via pre-sale on the Red Hill Estate website for $48 RRP ahead of its official June 2026 release. The Pinot Noir pays tribute to what the winery said is one of the club’s most celebrated moments – its centenary premiership victory and the only time an AFL premiership was cast in gold. The small batch release by the Mornington Peninsula-based producer is made from 100% Pinot Noir and designed as both a collector’s item for North Melbourne supporters and as a premium cool-climate wine for lovers of the variety.
