Riverland Wine appoints new executive officer

Riverland Wine has appointed Andrew Weeks as its new executive officer, effective Monday 27 April 2026. Riverland Wine said that Weeks brings a “deep understanding of the winegrape sector shaped by a career spanning viticulture, business management, national industry advocacy, and with a personal connection to the Riverland that goes back to his childhood in Renmark”. “The Riverland has always been central to Australia’s wine industry, and I’m proud to be returning to the region in this role. Growers and winemakers here are doing it tough, and they deserve strong, practical representation. I’m looking forward to working alongside the board, members and industry partners to push for the settings that will keep this region viable and thriving for the long term,” Weeks said.
