The 2026 Riesling Rosé and aromatic roundup

'When it comes to whites, I’ll happily guzzle Riesling and Chardonnay for the rest of my life'. That was a comment on my dive into Pinot Gris/textural whites, and it's a very fair sentiment. A peek into the trusty Ozwinereview cellar sheet confirms that my cellar is dominated by Chard, Riesling and Hunter Valley Semillon. But then again, I also love drinking Smaragd Grüner, Bordeaux blanc, Alsace blends, etc., which I'm definitely not giving up. Anyway, today's dive into the sample pile has a Riesling focus. Or at least it started that way, and then I added a few aromatic whites/crisp interlopers and rosé to this lineup too (and I'll do Chardonnay next week) for balance.
