The Buyer | Chris Wilson: Boekenhoutskloof 2023 UK launch and Semillon vertical

Fresh - well fatigued - from fighting bush fires in Franschhoek, South African winemaker Marc Kent from the celebrated Boekenhoutskloof arrived in the UK last week to launch the 2023 vintage of its titular flagship wines. Alongside tasting the new wines, Kent offered a Semillon retrospective, looking back at the estate’s famous white wine and deep diving into a handful of older vintages. Chris Wilson reports.
