Better. From an excellent if challenging growing season Tenuta San Guido has created one of the great Bolgheri wines in Sassicaia 2023. But the takeaway from the worldwide launch in London on February 5 was don’t forget the Le Difese 2024 and Guidalberto 2024, both of which were on magnificent form. Peter Dean was at the launch in the company of the estate’s Priscilla Incisa della Rocchetta and Armit Wine’s boss Brett Fleming.
