The Buyer | Still breaking all the rules: Rosemary Cakebread’s Gallica Wine

It’s no surprise that wine legend Rosemary Cakebread of Gallica Wine was invited to present at this year’s Wine Paris masterclass entitled ‘Quality and Innovation’. She has been a trailblazer in Napa Valley for precision organic viticulture and for breaking with tradition by introducing varieties not usually associated with west coast American wines. Luckily, Cakebread came to London shortly after the Paris Wine Fair to share her wines in her trademark modest and respectful manner. Miranda Long joined her for lunch to hear more.
