The Savoy to open Beaufort Wine Bar
A wine bar offering more than 250 wines from 18 countries will open at The Savoy next month. Called Beaufort Wine Bar, it’s extensive wine list will span six continents, with half of the collection available by the glass using Coravin technology. It will include vintages from 1975 to 2025, covering First Growth Bordeaux, Grand Cru Burgundy, mature champagne and wines from lesser-known regions. A selection of grape-based spirits and wine cocktails made with cognac, grappa and pisco will also be available. Head sommelier Romain Audrerie will lead the wine programme, bringing more than 15 years’ international hospitality experience, including as part of the opening team at Chiltern Firehouse and later as global wine director for André Balazs Properties.
