Vignerons ready to put season behind them

Tumbarumba region vignerons have managed to retrieve something from a disastrous season which saw late frost almost wipe out the 2026 vintage. The frost in mid-November last year saw many vineyards in the district decimated with little hope of any harvest for some of those hit. The Tumbarumba region covers a large and diverse area which leads to great variability in climate and conditions - especially when it comes to weather disaster such as this frost. As a result there was variability in the damage caused to the crop.
