Wine Growth Summit facilitates sharing of international expertise with Aussie industry professionals

The 2026 Wine Growth Summit hosted by Wine Communicators of Australia was recently held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, with guest speakers bringing international wine industry insights and strategies to Australia. Speaker Angelica Crabb, senior analyst at Wine Australia, highlighted that Brazil, Mexico, Thailand and India are all expected to import more wine over the next five years. Brendan Carter, winemaker at Unico Zello and director of media company Bottle Shock, spoke of the dynamic and youthful wine culture in Thailand. Andrew Kamphuis, founder and president of Commerce7, offered insights from the e-commerce platforms’ top performing wineries. Emily Harper, chief marketing officer at Australian Vintage, shared lessons from the Poco Vino brand story. Louis Schofield of World Apart Wines encouraged the audience to rethink what growth means to them and chief operating officer for the Randall Wine Group Alexia Roberts stressed the importance of showing up in person and having patience.
