Wine Society CEO: current tax system is "absolutely nuts"

The Wine Society has called on the government to impose only one environmental tax on businesses, rather than its current ‘death by a thousand cuts’ regime, arguing that retailers have to “perform better than inflation just a standstill” and that Christmas will be “hard work” and likely to come “very late”.
