Young Viticulturists in New Zealand prep for 2026 competitions

New Zealand Wine has revealed that young viticulturists around the country are turning their focus to the 2026 Ormond Nurseries New Zealand Young Viticulturist of the Year awards. The competition has been running for twenty years, “supporting over 250 Young Viticulturists, with many coming back year after year, such is their passion and determination to win the prestigious title”. Nicky Grandorge, leadership and development manager at New Zealand Winegrowers, said there is always excitement as the new Young Viticulturist competition season begins
