SA winery takes home top trophy at the 2026 Winetitles GSM Challenge

South Australia’s A.G. Oatley Wines has won the 2026 Winetitles Great Australian Grenache, Shiraz, Mourvèdre/Mataro (GSM) Challenge ‘Best GSM of Show Trophy’ with its 2025 Whipbird McLaren Vale GSM. “A.G. Oatley has triumphed in the 2026 Winetitles GSM Challenge, it’s also pleasing to see McLaren Vale in the regional spotlight with increasing consumer interest in this unique varietal blend,” said event director Julian McLean. This year’s event attracted “strong industry support”, with the 2025 Whipbird prevailing over “intense competition particularly from home region McLaren Vale and the Barossa Valley”.
